Gold Award Cotswolds holiday cottage 5 star Stow on the Wold cottage

Accessibility Guide

Introduction
May Cottage is a delightful 2 bedroom regency cottage all on one level and within a few minutes walk of the famous Stow Square. It has been completely renovated and extended to include a master Suite with luxury bathroom, a conservatory and enlarged sitting room opening onto a patio. There is off-road parking and private garden. Its 5 Star status has been renewed annually and it also has a coveted Gold Award from the English Tourist Board.

Pre-Arrival
May Cottage is only a short 3-4 min walk to the centre of Stow and all its many shops, hotels, restaurants and pubs as well as take-aways which are only two minutes away. Stow is connected by bus to all the nearby towns and the nearest Train Station, which is on the Worcester line out of London Paddington, is 5 miles away at Kingham. Taxis need to be ordered separately (try Tony Knight on 07887-714047).

Although the cottage is all on one level, it is not suitable for wheelchair guests. Whilst we do not accept dogs we would always be happy to consider accepting an ‘assistance dog’ for guests with disability who were able to access the cottage and did not use a wheelchair. The cottage also has free Wi-Fi throughout.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
The property has electrically controlled and lit security gates and instructions for their use will be made available as part of the booking process. At the top of the drive there is a dedicated and marked parking space for one car and the owner will provide a further space for a second car on request. The parking area is illuminated by security lights during the hours of darkness and there is also a dedicated coach light which illuminates the access to the cottage and its front door.

Details of key collection are provided with final payment.
